The Christiana Care Aphasia Education Group is a support group for patients/families who have been affected by aphasia. Aphasia is an acquired language disorder that can happen most commonly as a result of stroke or brain injury.

Meetings are divided into time for topics associated with aphasia, and time for people to practice communicating with each other. The group is run by a licensed and certified speech-language pathologists.
