Christiana Care’s Perioperative Value Council invites you to attend the 12th Annual Perioperative Perspective: Latest Trends & Practices.

The conference is for health care professionals in the perioperative setting.

Keynote Speaker
Kathleen D. Pagana, Ph.D., RN is a Certified Speaking Professional and a best-selling author. She has written more than 95 articles and published 29 books. Her most popular books are “Mosby’s Diagnostic and Laboratory Test Reference” and “The Nurse’s Etiquette Advantage.”

Featured Speaker
Yolanda Schlabach is a Registered Nurse, currently enrolled in a Doctoral program for Community Care, Counseling & Trauma. She co-chaired the Victim Services Committee on the Human Trafficking Council from 2015-2017 and formed DelCAT, Delaware Coalition Against Trafficking. She currently sits on The Interstate Compact for Juveniles and partners with Salvation Army to build infrastructure for Human Trafficking survivors.

Closing Speaker
Dr. Lani Nelson-Zlupko received her bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and her master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a licensed psychotherapist, executive coach, and Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Lani has been helping individuals, families, organizations, health care providers and hospitals for over 25 years; she specializes in change management, personal and professional resiliency, and crisis resolution.

ChristianaCare is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Delaware Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

*Participants will be awarded 6.16 contact hours. Attendance of entire conference is required to receive continuing education contact hours.
